MADINAH: Food safety inspections in Madinah have been intensified in preparation for the arrival of Hajj pilgrims on Thursday.
As part of these efforts, the Madinah Regional Municipality has conducted routine checks on commercial establishments, with 4,165 food samples tested so far.
Of these, 186 were found to be unfit for human consumption, while the rest met approved safety standards.
The municipality stressed the importance of complying with health regulations to protect public well-being and urged residents to report any food safety issues by calling the 940 hotline or using official communication platforms.
